well i have a few questions, i have enough money so thats not the problem so i dont wanna hear cost issues lol. im a part time mcdonalds worker! haha, ok well umm is guild wars nightfall i think its call is that an expansion to guild wars or a whole different guild wars online, whats the differance between them, what kinds of things are cool in guild wars and is there different classes and everything. is there player vs. player battles? is it glitchy? i have a gaming computer and WoW was glitchy for me so i didnt like it and i didnt like how you didnt get as much for the effort you did, well plz help me right away since in a few hours im gunna go get the game.

Any of the current GW products work as either Stand alone games or as expansions to GW chapters you already have. So, you only need one of them to play, but only in the area coverd by it (They're all Pretty big areas)

There are many differences between the three chapters. There's a sticky at the top of the forums "Players on a budget..." that gives a pretty good account of what each chapter has.

Player vs. Player is one side of GW. There are lots of options for PvP, 4-man teams, 8 man teams, Guild battles, etc.

There are six core professions - Mesmer, Monk, Ranger, Warrior, Necromancer, and Elementalist. With Nightfall, you also get the Dervish and Paragon professions. In factions, assassins and ritualists are available.

The game isn't very glitchy, just the occasional lag problems.

1. Guild Wars nightfall is a campaign/game in it's own right. you don't need either Prophecies (the 1st game) or Faction's (the 2nd game) to play it.

IE. you can buy Nightfall, install it, create and accou8nt and play fully in the Nightfall area and not worry about what's in the other 2 campaigns. you will only have access to "Core" skills and classes as well as Nightfall classes and skills - You will not have access to any skills & classess that are Prophecies and/ Faction's only.

2. If you have an account with 2 campaigns that are linked together, you can play character's from both campaigns in each other.

ie if you have Prophecies & Nightfall you can create a character in Nightfall and take that character to Prophecies, and vice versa.

3. The game is designed to run on lower end computer's, as well as over Dialup. It shouldn't be gluitchy - most issue's that arise are generally due to old video drivers, bad memory, etc (ie the person's computer).

4. there are PvP battles -there are different arena's throughout the game..

- newbie pvp in the starting area's
- Random Arena 4v4 battles
- Team Arena (8v8 iirc)
- Hero Battles
- Guild vs guild (again, 8v8)

also if you starting and wan learn good basics start by gw prophecies or nighfall.

in prophecies the tutorial for new players is really good and in nighfall *heroes* (kind of imporved ai hench, and controlable) help alot too for new players.

faction have good story but the begining is kinda rushed and dun let you learn properly.but if offer a pvp interessing aspect.
